My Uncle Gary passed away a couple weeks ago…

He was a lifelong Braves fan. He never missed a game if they were on television. I told my cousin at his graveside service he would get us through the NLCS and to the WS.
I knew they could do it. This one is for him.

Hope he and my granny are chopping now. This championship has surprised me in how much sentiment and nostalgia it has brought to the surface. I'd say it's more sentimental than a bama championship, it's hit me in the feels and reminded me of the loved ones who never missed a game. I still remember my granny loving Dale Murphy and making sure I took #3 in little league. ah shite
