Nah. Max Johnson, Nuss, Walker Howard and then I expect Arch.

Would be a ridiculously loaded QB room with I expect 1-2 transfers.

Riley would get a top 5 ranked QB every year.

Serious note… name accomplishments that Lincoln has had and why he should be next? I don’t understand the hype. He’s at one of two schools (OU and Texas) in the conference that can finically compete with SEC schools. Doesn’t crush the recruiting game. The most drafts picks he has produced is 7 in one season. Given he has had 3 NFL level QB’s. His teams get whooped on the regular by SEC level teams. His defensives have sucked yearly.
Why the hype and the risk?

He doesn't? He's consistently gotten top 10 classes at Oklahoma and the average player ratings have been some of the best in the country every year.

2019 - 6th - 91.2 average - 24 commits (LSU was 5th - 90.75 average - 25 commits)
2020 - 12th - 90.39 average - 23 commits (LSU was 4th - 93.26 - 22 commits)
2021 - 10th - 93.18 average - 16 commits (LSU was 3rd - 92.75 - 23 commits)

His recruiting at Oklahoma has been slightly worse than LSU's over the last three years, but he doesn't have the built-in recruiting advantage that LSU has either.

In 2022, Oklahoma has 5 players in the 247 top 300. Louisiana has 15. Also, factor in his QB recruiting. He's landed the number 1 and 2 QBs in 2019 and 2021.

Top 10 doesn’t do it here on the rant. LSU has a top 15 class and kids don’t even know who their HC is next year. He doesn’t recruit great. If y’all want to talk about player retention too, it’s not great… look it up.

Top 10 at Oklahoma easily turns into top 5 with LSU's recruiting base. Also, you can't just look at the overall ranking, which is why I posted the averages. One of those classes OU only took 16 guys.

Riley's team is getting its shite pushed in by 1-5 Kansas at the moment. Yeah, it's way too early and coming off a mid-game power outage, but Kansas is dominating so far.

I’m not a Riley fan

But take Saban off of the board

And 3 LSU coaches that have won NCs

And what’s your list of coaches with greater accomplishments than Lincoln Riley
