No thanks.

LSU can do better than this. If they can’t then they deserve an
8-5 record every year topped off with an Independence bowl appearance.

People are going to start calling for O back.

Exactly like that. Except not at all. Look Napier isn’t choice #1 but if you can’t get Riley then you are looking at stability concerns with Fickel & possibility Franklin (defensive coach) to USC.

Out of the tier 2 candidates I would be as happy with Napier as I would with any of them. Definitely would take before Kiffin or Tucker or even Jimbo/Dabo. Fallback could be Napier or Aranda & I’m completely fine with that.

It’s coming if a guy like Napier is hired. People are going to start questioning why a huge buyout was paid for a second tier candidate. Not realizing they’re saying they would rather have O over Napier.

If you want to send a message to the rest of the SEC that LSU is hell-bent on getting back on top, you don't hire Billy Napier.

*coach who knows football. Felt like Orgeron was about to tank the program & Woodward has wanted his own hire from day 1. Moving on from O was the right move, the next coach will be an improvement, and none of that is really debatable.

What are you basing this upon?

Their careers are totally opposite, and it appears their personality isn't nearly the same.

If Napier is hired, he better come out firing. These "One of Us" goofballs think the Sun Belt coach is the savior of the SEC

And after last night, no. Just no. With the amount of time and prep, and with Woodward..

If it's Napier, well.. see above

Not even close...ill be the first to say Napier isnt my 1st choice but hes top 3. Everyone needs to get out of the mindset that we are hiring ULL's coach. He could very well be coach at several SEC schools at this moment if he wanted to put decided to wait for the perfect job to come up.

Napier wouldnt be a big name hire like everyone wants but he may be the hire LSU needs

I never expect all LSU fans to be rational, but the majority know what’s up. And a lot of that majority doesn’t post here (guilty lurkers abound though)

Imagine a world where you wouldn’t have to hire offensive coordinators every single year. A place where a young coach, thought of highly by his peers. Peers who know way more about football then we do. What a world that would be..

Coach O was the worst coach in Ole Miss history based on win pct

Napier is the best coach in ULL history based on win pct

Totally the same
