Among the eight mentioned, IMO Fickel, Kiffin, Aranda and Napier would come. The other four won’t come due to already high salary along with current high profile job. So who would be your choice of these four?

That makes sense. I do not see Riley or Dabo leaving. I have no idea how one would conduct such a search. To me, I would want to have a very solid psychological profile on any potential candidate. Such would have disqualified Coach Idiot and Coach Dumbass before him. I wonder if one such profile could be constructed vicariously through a thorough review of the person's behavior over time. Hmmmmm...

LSU has won three titles with three different coaches so you know some high profile coach on Woodward's list seems willing to come to LSU. That guy could be Fickell.

I have said that I am not able to conduct such a search, but I like Aranda's approach to the game. I think Kiffin would attract top-flight offensive players. I know less about the other two. If one were convinced that Fickel really wanted to come to LSU long-term to build a championship program, I would consider him.
