Urban Meyer is the only coaching candidate who has actually won championships.

Admit it. He is the only coach off that list who HAS ACTUALLY WON NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS. Just because he got a lap dance from some skanky ho doesn’t mean that should knock him out of the list. Besides that happened away from the confines of his job so I don’t get why people are crazy about it.

Actually it didn't. It happened when his team was flying home from a game without him. No other coach would ever, ever do that. The confines of his job indicate that he should have been on that flight with his coaches and his team. That's probably the biggest sticking point in the whole deal from the franchise's standpoint.

His season isn’t over until 1/9. We aren’t waiting to hire a coach until January. Same with Fickel if he will be in the Playoffs.

"Give the guy a break"? He's got baggage from every school he's been. He's had at least 4 breaks. Lap dance vs 31 players arrested his last year at Fla. ?? Add to that his well documented health issues combined with his age. And at his age & point in his career, do you think he wants to go heads up against Saban every year?
