Onyemata and Davenport coming back will fix the pass rush.

We have more interceptions(9) than sacks. That needs to change.

Well duh. Interior is an issue. Obvious is obvious.

Getting Onyemama back is huge. The interior d-line has been manned by three UDFAs and journeyman Montavious Adams. They've played well against the run but pressure up the middle has been non-existent.

we were thin at DT even before Onyemata's suspension... the young guys have stepped up huge against the run, but have done very little to collapse the pocket on D. It also doesn't help that Cam looks like he lost a step or two.

As good of a year as Lattimore has had it's pretty obvious the lack of pass rush has got us ranked 27th in pass def. We have been doing well with pressures but they don't disrupt an offense nearly as much as a sack. The team is 4th in run def. so once we get all of our pieces back and crank up the rush we should be in good shape.

We can fix the pass rush by re-signing Hendrickson, oh wait.

Exactly, and had one taken away by a holding call on Ball two weeks ago so it should be 5.5 in five games

Get Davenport healthy and move Cam inside. They already do it on passing downs (when healthy along the line) and Cam is a beast against the run.

Defensive ends are so good that teams have to add extra blockers, which means our above average to elite linebackers and DBs are feasting in coverage

Davenport want help the pass rush. He was talking out last season on passing downs. He is very good against the run but not a good pass rusher.

Double teams used to not matter a whole lot to Cam. I can't remember a more sudden fall off

As long as Davenport can not just return to the field but stay on the field. He has had flashes of greatness, but every time he starts coming on, he gets hurt. Now, Onyemata should be an instant upgrade in the middle and has proven to be reliable.
