Because 20/30/40 year old me is different than 70 year old me. Life may begin to slow down where I am cool with being on a large piece of land away from everything

I get where you are coming from regarding the remoteness of it. I agree with you on that aspect of it. Sorry, I was thinking 20-50 year old would like living in North Carolina but probably closer to a mid to big city. I guess my point was that the state of NC would be great to live in at any age.
