It's an administrative rule, not a law, Jen. There's a big difference.
Even that is generous! It’s nothing but a press conference soundbite at the moment.

WH tells Tx and Fl that Federal law overrides state law. by teke184
1. Is this law or federal regulation? Hell, have they even made and passed regulation if it is the latter?
2. Has this been expressly given to the Feds or is that the domain over the states?
10th Amendment, BITCH!
It’s just Circle Back pulling out this note but she printed it on White House letterhead so she thinks it counts.

Unfortunately, they're not wrong. State Laws/regulations can only be more rigorous than federal laws/regulations when it comes to safety.
There is no law….and using OSHA is a huge over-reach by Biden. Even the most liberal Obama appointed Judge would see this (but still find a way to enforce an injunction).

Should we take this opportunity to discuss sanctuary cites?
This is a good point Slevin7.
I don't like the idea of sanctuary cities as I think Federal law should be followed regardless. It cuts both ways left and right. I don't like it when cities don't enforce immigration law, but when it comes down to Feds overstepping and taking power from the people then I'm for it.
To be honest these E.O.'s have to stop. If a president can alter the rules or laws at any agency with a stroke of a pen, this is tyranny. Congress wrote the laws that gave these agencies their authority. The president shouldn't be allowed change the law to whatever he wishes. This goes for Republican and Democrat.

Not if the law defies the state's constitution. That's an unconstitutional law and must be ignored. The federal government, even the legislation shall make no law infringing on the state's rights. There was only one area where vaccines were mandated and only because the state's constitution actually allowed for it.

Your fearless leader said they need to get out of his way. Not much of a stretch there. Also, the Constitution doesn’t forbid it, so you can do it, after all abortion isn’t mentioned either, nor is a right to privacy.

Why? It’s what communists do. Remove the opposition. Isn’t that what your side wants?

Democrat states refused to abide by Trumps laws.
