There’s some areas over there where I wouldn’t put it past them to do that.

Especially the end of Hoo Shoo Too by the river. There's some trashy people who live there. There's also some really nice subdivisions that have been built on HST. But I guess it's too much to hope that the trashy people never leave their trailer homes on stilts.

PUBLIC SAFETY ALERT - EAST BATON ROUGE PARISH:

Troopers and local law enforcement officials are currently searching for a suspect in the area of Hooshootoo Road at Tiger Bend Road following a LSP traffic stop and pursuit. The white male suspect is believed to have exchanged gunfire with the Trooper and is considered to be armed and dangerous. Citizens should avoid the area and report suspicious activity immediately to 911.

The preliminary investigation indicates that on Saturday, October 9th, 2021, shortly after 5:00 a.m., a Louisiana State Police Trooper attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a blue Chevrolet Silverado on LA Hwy 42 east of LA HWY 73 (Jefferson Hwy) in East Baton Rouge Parish. The driver refused to stop and shot at the Trooper. The Trooper returned fire and the pursuit continued on LA Hwy 73 to Hooshootoo Road, where gunfire was exchanged. The suspect fled the scene on Hooshootoo Road at the Tiger Bend Bridge. We believe the suspect is in the area and is considered armed and dangerous.

As the investigation develops, the circumstances of the incident and additional suspect information will be immediately released for public safety.

Good , he’s white. That means the cops can beat the frick out of him and choke him out and throw him off a bridge and nobody cares and nothing burns and I don’t have to watch speeches about Muh Systemic Racism for the next 2 years.

Yesterday was a rough day for Baton Rouge.
My brother in law was walking and there was a shooting infront of him near Gwen drive & Susan Drive.

One guy ran right by him with a gun pulled out ready to shoot.

He said he turned and walked the other way hoping at least if they would shoot him to shoot him in the back.

I guess the dry mild weather has everyone in a shooting mood.

Just heard the guy's name on the scanner. Said he's 31 yrs old, white male. They said he's also a suspect in a murder (or maybe attempted murder?) in Ascension Parish last night.

I'm hearing the suspect is Matthew Mire and that he may have shot someone in Ascension parish last night.

Walking like for exercise? That’s a not great area of town.

Yes, because it was State Police. Had it been a dark feller, they would have already beat him to death, for slow rolling through a stop sign.

trooper resigns
