I was a supporter too. I gave him a pass for 2020 & after the UCLA loss. I thought the coordinators needed time to grow into the role, which I believe Darante Jones has.. but I’m ready for coach O to be gone. Has to not only rely on his coordinators, but has rely on ex coaches to give him names of who to hire. He can’t do it on his own. Even Coach Ensminger told O to hire Brady

Imagine if O never inherited Aranda and Ensminger.

His actual hires have been really bad.

He has gotten better since the UCLA game but he is still shite. Absolutely refuses to blitz. Can't make adjustments. It's not just him it is the entire staff. No adjustments on either side of the ball. LSU jumps out to a lead then the other team comes back and wins. It's absolutely painful to watch because outside of the oline this team has the talent to be great. They just need the coaching.

As the face of the program he did a pretty good job. The media loved him. His personality endeared him with most fans and did a good job recruiting. But like any business, if you don’t have competent department heads your probably going to fail. And he did. It just didn’t work out.

This statement should never need to be made about coordinators at LSU. Absolutely unforgivable to have first time coordinators on this staff.
