Miles was a bad hire and out of the blue. We saw the shite show when O was hired. Most coordinators too. Prospective employees can sense dysfunction in an organization.

Let’s hope the administration handles this one with professionalism and discretion. They need to move faster than they usually do.

Keep in perspective that even our last two dumpster fire coaches both managed to win nattys.

Completely disagree. It's October. We need to take our time, vet our candidates, and make a well-informed decision. Making a big name, splashy hire on impulse will be devastating to the future of the program.

he was neither, he was talked about for the Bama job when Franchione left and they hired Price.

At LSU had 2 separate 3 season runs at LSU of 34-6 (the 2nd of which was with his players) that included 1 NC, another NC appearance, 2 SEC Titles and 3 SEC W titles. He also coached in the same division as the GOAT coach AND his permanent SEC East opponent had the 2nd best coach of this century for his first 6 or so seasons. Yes, get was stubborn and fell behind and it was definitely time to move on but to act like his whole time here was a disaster is just dishonest.

i was 100% against the O hire but he did deliver the greatest season in the history of the program and arguably the sport. I don;t think Fisher (who i wanted) or Herman would have done that

You are retarded. Miles was a good coach until he lost his mojo. His last several years were terrible because he acted a stubborn arse, but he was a good/great coach for several years.

You don’t think Woodward hasn’t been vetting coach’s agents to gauge interests since last year ?

Yeah, imagine hiring a guy that won over 70 percent of the games and a national title. What a flop

I have theorized that Saban did not care for the over-bearing, opinionated, second-guessing fan base at LSU. Saban made it clear from the start to the Alabama fan base that he is 100% in charge, ergo a plethora of National Championships and a winning tradition.
