Nope. He might be fired at Fla State before he ever becomes head coach.

Why in the hell would I miss Fisher over Crowton. We lost in '06 at Aub because of Fisher's dumb arse play calling which cost us a trip to the SEC championship and possibly Nat'l championship. Dont get me wrong, Fisher was a pretty damn good OC, but Crowton is just that much better.

I miss him all the time... It's hard to hit someone in Florida with a beer bottle tossed from Texas.

Not at all. Yep and Auburns punting in that game kept us pinned back out of field goal range. They didn't turn JaMarcus loose until the 4th quarter and then it was too little, too late.

I think his success was attributed to all the talent around him. With less talent, FSU talent, his average play calling and lack of play makers are probably going to get him fired.

Dumbo Fisher... Thank God we had good defences. We won in spite of him not because of him.

Jimbo was a very good qb coach, but a terrible play caller. The only season that he adjusted his style was 2001, and he only did it later in the season. We put up SEC record numbers and he totally went back in the deep freeze the next season and stayed there.

Biggest problem with Jimbo was that it seemed to take 4-5 games season-after-season before our offense took flight. Almost every early season test was met with failure (Tenn '01, Va Tech '02, UGA '03 (although we won), UF '03 (only points from Skyler's punt return), AU '04 and '06. Since he was OC for some of our best years I'm not out to unduly slam him but the slow starts hurt.
