Any of the Hudman/Ticer spots. Bishop, Catherine and Mary's. and Gray Canary are all downtown. Andrew and Michael is another place of theirs in East Memphis

Felicia Suzanne's and Flight are good nice places downtown

Erling Jensen's

Felicia Suzanne's (Felicia is there fairly often), Itta Bena, Flight, Southern Social, Porch and Parlor is my favorite.

Although I just noticed you said lunch/brunch so none of these suggestions are relevant as they're evening spots.

I enjoyed a nice dinner at Itta Bena once. I don’t know about lunch.

My wife and I just did Saturday brunch at The Beauty Shop and it was really good. Sunday brunch was at the aforementioned Gray Canary. You can’t go wrong with either one.

Enjoy Memphis!

I had a really solid meal at The Gray Canary last time I was in town.

My wife loves Automatic Slim's Tonga Club, right across the street from the Peabody. It's a Martini bar, but the food won her over.

They also have the 100 oz mimosa bong if you're really looking to get down at brunch!
