Living outside of Louisiana, I miss some updates. What is the injury with Sage Ryan, and why have we not tried Davis? If my old brain is working right, weren’t these the top 2 safety prospects in the country? Curious if there is something up with them I might have missed.

Sage Ryan has yet to play he’s out with what I believe is a back injury. Derrick Davis has seen a little bit of time but he isn’t ready yet to play a real role.

The safety play has been nothing short of abysmal and fighting with the OL for the worse position play on the entire team and maybe one of the bottoms in the SEC too.

I believe he has to pass all of the steps in the concussion protocol before he can be cleared. He must have gotten a bad one coming up to tackle against UCLA.

On tv looked like a shoulder injury when he filled the gap on that big ucla rb.
