I get different reviews on every website it seems. Would love to be pointed in the right direction.
I want a perfectly cooked dry aged bone in rib-eye.

Had a great meal at Chicago Cut Steakhouse about a month ago. It’s on the river about a half mile from London House.

Bavette's is about a 15 minute walk from London House... It's my favorite and they have a 22oz dry aged ribeye..

Been a while, not sure if Primehouse is still in James Hotel, but they had dry aged steaks there

I live in Chicago and can confirm Bavette's is the answer.
If you have enough people get a seafood tower and/or a cheeseburger to split as an appetizer. Even if you don't have enough people get the creamed spinach, elote corn and chocolate cream pie. Corkage is free on a bottle of wine if you share a glass with another table in the dining room.

Swift & Sons, Bavette's, Maple & Ash.

Ate at Gene and Georgetti about 3 months ago and it was my least favorite meal on the trip. Would not go again.

I'd have no problem with anyone picking any of these three. I've had some consistency issues at Swift & Sons. Maple & Ash is a little too clubby for me. Bavettes has the best balance of food and atmosphere imo. I wouldn't be mad going to any of them though.
