Besides, I doubt Burrow has watched much, if any, of our games. On Saturdays, he's preparing for his Sunday NFL game.

he was talking about the UCLA game...I seriously doubt he was lying

I wonder how he feels about the offense looking worse vs. McNeese?

This thread seems like a desperate attempt at validating the shite performance we’ve seen so far

I would think he wasn't or wouldn't be happy just like me and every other fan...I highly doubt he would think the answer is to fire all the coaches.

I have not once tried to validate our performance so far...thinking we can improve is not validating our performance

Just one should be fired. It'll be the new head coaches job to determine who he wants to keep.

It's just so bizarre yo take the word of a former player that is way too busy being a professional QB over people who are paid to cover the program. Burrow will never say a bad word about O's performance, even after O gets fired this year if nothing changes.

Joe wants LSU to give coach O a lifetime contract.

We’ve already established that former players are extremely biased towards their coaches. Do you have anything else to bring?

How about discussing the fact that despite Burrow’s endorsement, Orgeron hasn’t “fixed it” yet?

Every week former player, national media, local media are referenced saying something about the program. If posters don't agree they say "oh he is a dumbass and doesn't know anything" "ESPN hates us" etc...so do we value the opinion of the media now or still call them dumbasses that don't know anything...just trying to keep up. What Jordy says every day makes it to this board

I agree so what is there to discuss? I am on the side that believes and hopes it can be fixed and you are on the side that doesn't think it can

Frankly what he has to say is way more relevant than any former player. His job is to cover the program. former players that have other jobs simply don't have the same knowledge. Sorry people that know more don't agree with the sunshine pumping that you do.

Shoot I'd think he was even more cool if he said they are being coached and playing like straight arse

Does he still think Coach O deserves a lifetime contract?

he also hates and wants the HC fired so he is biased correct?

I love how I am a sunshine pumper now, when I am not happy with what I've seen this year, and I was a huge negatiger a few years ago

Or that's his opinion based on O's performance. Why are you acting lie t's crazy to think O is no longer the person for this job based on the last year plus?

There is literally zero reason to think O is capable of turning this around. We have all the same problems from last year with just about all new coaches except for O. Just like at the end of the Miles era, it's OK to acknowledge that a coach should go.

How about starting with how he’s going to fix it. I’ll even ask specific questions so you don’t get distracted and post more straw man arguments. I’ll stick with the obvious problems so you don’t get confused.

1. How is he going to fix the obvious lack of ability and depth on the Oline?

2. How is he going to fix the absolute disaster that is the running game?

3. How is he going to fix Max’s accuracy issues?

4. How is he going to fix the lack of depth and production. in the WR room, outside of Boutte?

5. How is he going to fix the abysmal linebacker and safety play?

Since you established in the other thread that it’s not his fault LSU’s position groups are underperforming, is he going to let those coaches go? Is he going to be more hands on? Is he going to ride it out with the staff that didn’t fix shite during the 8 months between their hire and the start of the season?

Be specific. I’ll wait.
