The defensive problems are the same ones he hasn’t fixed from last season. Asking what he can do to fix them is moot. It’s obvious now that he has no idea how to fix them.

we have a new DC...you didn't see improvement on the dline? you don't think the D has improved form week 1 to week 2?

I don’t judge LSU by how good they look against an FCS school. We will see how the defense looks this weekend when they play against a team that belongs in the same stadium.

ETA: Now it’s your turn. Do you have a problem with the offense getting worse from week1 to week 2. Against a FCS school no less?

So CMU doesn’t belong in the same stadium as LSU? Glad we’ve established that. It’s also bookmarked for next weeks “LSU is still working things out” threads.

Try few months posts, this isn’t getting fixed in the next week or month.

Pretty sure he has a pass on a few of those also, depending on severity/reasoning.

I asked if CMU belongs in the same stadium...will you use that as an excuse if our defense improves?

What about my previous post wasn't clear on that?

Some people (probably O included) saw that Cregg had a super bowl ring and automatically thought he was a home run hire lol

Wow, the The Rant couch QB telling the #1 pick he’s wrong. I think I’ve seen enough for the day. I’m curious to know how Joe Burrow is wrong with a statement like that. You do realize a lot of this falls on the coaching staff but when do you think it’s time to hold the players accountable? Do you think he made it mandatory for the WRs pre 2019 to catch 10,000 balls from the machines and force them to do extra work? No. I’ll bet not. The players have to want it just as bad, and based on the product on the field and the actual fight this team has or lack there of signals to me they don’t want it bad enough. Stop blaming this all on the coaching staff.

Again, that award was in spite of them. Burrow made that line look much better than it was

I’m shocked you watched.

I know it pained you to see O succeed.

Again, let’s reflect on the elite teams that also played last year, as well as the last time each had .500 seasons followed by less than .500 seasons.

You do realize if the O bet is perpetuated what stands to be lost? Is it worth it? You ok with becoming FSU, Tennessee, etc.?

How did Bamas, UGAs, OSUs, Clemson’s seasons go in 2020? How come it’s ok for the bar to drop at LSU? And, that was then and here we are now……

Jesus Christ…..who recruited them? Who mentors them? Who develops them?

And, for the sake of argument, what happens if he never inspires said players? We look back on multiple losing seasons and say, “oh well. He can’t help it if the kids won’t listen.” Let’s hope he can find better kids one day…..oh wait!

Let me ask you: what does a coach do?

He loves O because be said he felt O believed in him and was all in on him when others weren't, so he's not likely to say anything negative about him or LSU's performance so far. He's probably realistically concerned, but hoping for the best.

Burrow is a professional.

He knows what to say.

So, O is capable of coaching a legendary player (with uncanny abilities), yet is unable to consistently mentor/lead/COACH the remaining 90%+ of the team.

Got it. So, we all just wait until another Joe Burrow comes by the grave yard.

ETA: that’s aimed at Trout not you
