I used to play 2-3 times a week for years before the pandemic hit and once it did, I stopped playing until now and am trying to get back at it again.

I fricking love it. One of the few things in life I can say I'm really good at. It's a great game, fun game, relaxing, and is a pretty stress-free game IMO. Good way to develop skill and deal with angles on certain shots. One of the best and most fun activities/games IMO.

Curious to see if anyone else on here plays or not.

Also while why not post a few of these?

I love pool

My family used to have a pool table in our upstairs (which I’ve heard is rare)

My dad used to bartend and then go bet his tips and such on pool

I have never once in my life beaten my father in pool

I did for quite a while. Always some excitement in a club with "losers". Good times.

My dad still has a pool table that I still occasionally go by to play. Just something else to do that you can bond with your dad.

I don't think there's a pool player alive who shoots better pool than I saw you shoot the other night at Ames. You got talent.

You may wish to add NSFW to your title considering the photos.

I had a regulation table in my bedroom as a teenager and was pretty good. Never got into it when in college, not much for the bar scene, except for a couple times surprising some friends who didn't suspect. Also later had a nice table in my den of my first home.

Do not ever get into a game for money with this young lady.

Same here. Our gameroom was on the second floor.

It's rare because it's a bitch carrying those limestone slabs up the stairs and plus you'd rather have your pool table on a solid concrete floor versus a wood frame. We never had a problem with the pool table upstairs tho.

Some buddies and I played at the old Grits when Nolan owned it.. Not sure if they still have the six full size tables or not. They had a urinal in the corner of the pool room that was like a stall. Everyone in the pool room could see your feet while you were taking a leak. We had some good times in that place.
