Going with three other couples in a couple weeks. VRBO. Very nice lodge with a pier. Haven’t fished there since I was a kid and that was with a boat. No boat this trip. Any advice for pier/bank fishing?

Rent kayaks to adventure a little away from bank weather permitting.

CBR900 can tell you where not to take a boat, unless your goal is to get out and push!

If the pier has a light on it and some brush get some minnows and fish after dark for crappie

Bass love a lighted boat dock pier at night too , big black worm

I did the same thing a few weeks ago on TX side. Threw watermelon red baby brush hog under and around dock and bank and caught 8 or so keepers over the course of a couple days.
