Tuesday Night NXT Thread: 2point0 Era is Here Edition

Last night's Raw was a really good episode and showed that when WWE cares... they can make some quality TV entertainment. I just hope Big E isn't punished after the ratings came out today showing the episode had its lowest rating overall since July 12th and lowest in the 18-49 demo since July 5th (both of those dates being during the Thunderdome era). What would Raw's numbers last night have been if AEW's ratings win last week wouldn't have caused WWE to hot shot the Lashley/Orton/Big E angle (which WWE should absolutely not blame any of those guys as that angle was the highest rated in the show).
The reported original plan was always Big E to eventually take the WWE Championship off of Bobby Lashley... it was just supposed to happen on Raw Draft Night (Oct. 4)... not last night. Thanks again, AEW.
Samoa Joe was reportedly supposed to be at Raw last night to promote the new NXT 2.0... but that was scrapped after he relinquished the title Sunday night due to injury.
Johnny Gargano's WWE contract expires December 3rd.
WWE has apparently secured some kind of big re-signing... but I'll have to get that name in the morning and reveal who it is in tomorrow night's AEW thread.
NXT is reportedly set to start phasing out some of the old hands as the rebrand starts tonight.
NXT 2.0 on USA comes from the revamped Capitol Wrestling Center inside of the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Fla.
After Samoa Joe announced he was vacating the NXT Championship Sunday night... NXT made the move to change tonight's already announced Fatal 4-Way #1 contender's match to a Fatal 4-Way for the Vacant NXT Championship match as Tommaso Ciampa, Pete Dunne, L.A. Knight, & Kyle O'Reilly square off for the title.
It's wedding day in Orlando as Indi Hartwell and Dexter Lumis get hitched. Surely this will go off without a hitch. (Hey Johnny... how's your contract status?)
And in women's tag team action... b/c NXT needs more of those... the TikTok Tag Team of Kacy Catanzaro & Kayden Carter take on Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne

Tv execs don’t care about Nielsen anymore because they know it’s outdated and has been for at least a decade. And please challenge me on this so I can drop receipts on you.
