Could I propose a compromise position on this? It’s true the Dems used the covid thing to loosen voting procedures to artificially boost turnout. Unsolicited mail ballots along with signature only verification played a major role. Is that fraud? I don’t know, but I can see why Reps, who had a historically popular incumbent, would be upset that those procedural changes helped oust their president. I think Mitch hit on this during his floor speeches during the certification debate when he argued for rolling back the covid changes to voting procedures. But other than that, extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence, and time and time again, the proponents of this egregious fraud story have failed to produce that extraordinary evidence. It’s just not enough to make huge inferential leaps when you’re challenging the foundation of our democracy. You have to deliver the goods.
