So then come out and tell us that vaccine is about half as effective against the current and maybe future variants.
We need the truth.
ETA I expect if public health agencies would have told the public the truth from day 1 that maybe more people would have been vaccinated....maybe not....but we would be in a better place either way.

If effectiveness falls off that much after a single mutation, and there are new mutations coming out 2-3 times per year, what do you think the benefit of the vaccine will be?
