Also said the OL was tired and not in shape.

"I wish we could've gotten him a little earlier, if we were going to have a coaching change."
#LSU Ed Ingram on new offensive line coach Brad Davis replacing James Cregg in early June. Ingram would've liked a little more time to get adapted.

#LSU Ed Ingram says last year after the Mississippi State loss teammates turned on each other. However this year Ingram says things are completely different, teammates are lifting each other up.

He also said he wish they had hired Davis earlier to have more time to learn his schemes.

But the tires… they were flipping them up and down the field.

So what the frick is Moffitt doing if everyone is still out of shape? Lol can we please wipe the program clean and start fresh?

Beyond incompetency from a coaching and S&C perspective. LSU has the highest paid group of grifters in all of college football.

Ed Ingram asked about what #LSU's offensive linemen see as the specific miscues from Saturday's opener at #UCLA.
"There were times that we didn't know what to do or we didn't block the right person... and also helping out the quarterback with the protection calls."

Ed Ingram asked abt camp injuries impacting continuity.
"I really don't know. It could've played some part in it. But I don't think it played a direct part in it."
"End of the day, we've just got to focus on our technique. I think a lot of us were tired and out of shape."

A big change in weekly routine could have caused that, but the blocking thing could be a result of having to change OL coaches mid-summer;

It’s unbelievable. Almost seems as if the team is turning on the coaching staff with statements like that.
How can you not even get conditioning right?
Two groups, 10 Gassers after each practice. Skilled positions must finish in 25 sec, non skilled 35sec. Boom, everybody is conditioned by game one. Easy.

if the play is to the left of you, step with your left foot first and block the first guy you can.
If the play goes to the right, step with your right foot first and block the first guy you can.
If it's a pass, pass block.
If it's a run right over you, blow the hole open and if he's stronger than you, communicate with the guy next to you for a double team.

In any case, he is probably just trying to take blame from the QB.
