Unfortunately we have a history of letting great coaches get away.

1)Saban
2)Fisher
3)Aranda
4)Brady

I firmly believe Aranda was what held the team together and was the real head coach while he was there. It was a huge mistake not giving him the keys in favor of Ogre. Lets hope the AD pulls the trigger on this sooner than later and we can put some distance between us and Ogre. This will only get worse.

you can use the same exact “lightening in a bottle” phrase for jimbo’s championship. wtf has he proved since then?

yeah he has never done anything. football ignorant tard. he is rebuiling TAMU now. does not matter his resume speaks for itself. he is winning. will he get a title? who knows.

yeah O is equal to jimbo because each have 1 natty as a HC

Are you insinuating we're going to let Ed Orgeron get away?

He finished #5 last year, and should have been in the playoff instead of Notre Dame

My guess is that it will be Aranda and he will promote Raymond to DC and mentor him along. He will need a good OC and stellar recruiters.

We won’t have to worry about the D under his time here.

And Spurrier before he went to UF.

(not the same, I know, but he was there for the taking, we wanted him, and whiffed.).

Slow your roll with that:

Saban was/is full of himself and always had to see if he could be a NFL winner. Nothing was going to stop that. I do think Bertman could have gotten him back when he went to Bama but Bertman ego didn't allow it.

Fisher was good OC at LSU but wasn't insane given talent. At the time of Saban leaving promoting Fisher was a weaker move than Miles.

Aranda - still currently feel he is not a head college coach for a major program. He would be more an NFL DC. Doesn't have the personality to run a college team with all the recruiting. Could be a stud though.

Brady - He was ready to move forward. Unless LSU was ready to offer him HC job he was moving to NFL OC job. I think he should/would strongly consider LSU HC job is Woody approached him this fall. Still a gamble b/c he has to deal with recruiting and other media noise instead of pure scheme.
