I live in NJ, all I hear is how bad covid is in Louisiana (and South in particular) and yet this website says the RT is .46

I'm supposed to come down with the family in 2 weeks to take my kids to their first football game and they want a mask on my kids.

Louisiana acting like NJ...what gives?

New Orleans + demographics skew covid data along with our Democratic overlords such as Latoya and JBE

Unfortunately Covid could disappear from the face of the earth tomorrow and they would still want to mask your kids for a sporting event. It is a sad state of affairs.

If I didnt follow the news or this website I would think I was traveling to Louisiana in two weeks without realizing Louisiana now is no different then NJ where I live.

Never did I think LSU would have stricter restrictions for a football game than Rutgers.

LSU hired an extreme SJW/ CRT advocate President over the summer and this is what you get.
He's wanting to virtue signal and "lead the way" on the vaccine mandates at the games, yet no one else bothered to follow his path.

But I didn't vote for him nor did many other fine people and we're all paying the price for the idiots that did.

Honestly, I think COVID in LA is pretty much dead now that FEMA machine is here. JBE was only virtue signaling for the federal emergency money...now Fed $$$ machine goes VROOOOM

New Orleans has a lower Rt than the state as a whole.

In the Lafayette area, I was denied service twice at two different establishments due to me refusing to wear a mask.

I was shocked

I honestly didn’t think there was an “outdoor” mask mandate here. Tiger stadium not requiring masks for games. All previous comments are correct though. And the one who said /thread after our governor is an idiot has never been more correct in his/her life!

Did the requirements change from about 10 days ago? Because I read 5-11 yr olds had to wear a mask INSIDE the stadium. My kids are 9 and 7.

I'm not saying they are going to enforce it once in the stadium but we don't really know do we? I remember reading they were pretty strict in Alex Box last spring.

Time will tell i guess or with an rt of .46 they should realize it isn't spreading and it sure isn't spreading outside most likely on a 90+ degree day and drop the requirement.
