Just remember that worrying about politics too much is a dead end street.

Colleges have been liberal and progressive for decades now. Vote for who you like and be done with it.

The media machine, most certainly including conservative media, wants you to be angry and consume their product 24/7. That, my friend, is what you should boycott.

So this stance I’ve taken is because I’ve watched too much tv?

Perhaps you aren’t paying attention as closely as you suppose you are.

While I agree with some of what you said about politics being a dead-end, the issues with LSU aren’t political so much as issues of respect. The university has zero respect for its students, alumni, or ticketholders. They see them only as dollar signs and feel entitled to their money rather than seek to earn it. The university has hired representatives that not only hold contempt for football fans, but contempt for alumni, students, traditions, and the university’s very identity. Not only do they hold it in contempt, but seek to actively undermine these traditions and marginalize students and alumni while feeling entitled to more of their money. This is an issue of leadership, respect, greed, culture, and corruption more so than simple politics.
