It's technically legal now, but there are no Louisiana sportsbooks are up and functional yet.

The people who failed to get it up and running before football season started should be whipped with a wet rope for causing the state to miss out on all that money.

I’m in Vegas right now, just wire me the money + a facilitators fee and I’ll place your bet.

I tried draftkings last night and it still doesn't work in Louisiana.

That’s because they haven’t been licensed yet; so they can’t turn it on in the state.

The physical/land based sports books should start taking bets by end of this month or early next month. Online betting via apps and internet should be available by end of year or start of next. The final piece will be kiosks in gas stations, restaurants, etc that are run by the La. Lottery; but those won’t be till next fall.

Road favorites cover 50% of the time.
Just like home favorites , road underdogs , and home underdogs…

The way the online books based on the US work is you have to reside in a state that allows it. They track your IP address and they’re strict about it. So if you live in Louisiana you still can not make a wager through a site like Draft Kings

What about the dumbasses in La that voted against spots gambling although we already have casinos and lost out on several years revenue from it.
