The helicopter video is from Kandahar. The military's reference was to Kabul. This isn't the dunk you think it is.

I wish I thought that Biden's generals and military advisors were this competent.

So Helicopters are incapable of flight between Kandahar and Kabul?

I'm sure they at least attempted to disable them. We saw the photo of the helicopter with the huge hole cut out of the front. I understand everyone expects complete incompetence from everything we do, but I think that just distracts from the things we actually should be pissed about. It doesn't matter that we didn't leave hundreds of working aircraft in Afghanistan, the entire withdraw is an unforgivable shitshow even without that.

The helicopter in the video is likely one of the many we left scattered throughout the country before it became obvious the ANA was going to fold like a cheap tent. I highly doubt anything in Kabul was left operational.

So Taliban can just trade those disabled aircrafts to China or Russia for some of their working aircrafts?

The aircraft should have self destruct capabilities that could be activated remotely if it fell into the wrong hands. It should be a bonus to take the "pilot" operating the aircraft out with it. We should also have had the Presidential Palace and other key facilities rigged to wipe out as many of the enemy as possible as well. Was this really that difficult to project in advance?

Oh — OK. The Taliban flying a fully functional Blackhawk helicopter gifted to them by our wholly corrupted national security apparatus is hunky-dory since it didn’t happen in Kabul.

I don’t know shite about humvees or aircraft, but if someone just left that for me to take, I would find a way to make it work. There is nothing stopping Russia or China from helping them

And the point here is that the ignominious ending to the sh*+ show in Afghanistan has been built upon one Pentagon lie stacked upon another.

The Pentagon issuing a press release stating that the military hardware left behind in Kabul has been made inoperable in no way alleviates their criminal misconduct for the entire 20 year occupation.

It indeed is very telling and indicative of the Pentagon’s total lack of credibility on any subject matter whatsoever.

This isn’t the dunk you think it is.

It was obvious to any honest person from the get-go that the puppet regime in Afghanistan was wholly corrupted and incompetent.

Of course, being honest excludes anyone remotely associated with our wholly corrupted national security apparatus.
