Dr Jay White got his law degree from LSU and practiced in Pensacola for 5 years before mysteriously deciding to hang it up, and go to med school (University of South Alabama). He's now an OBGYN. And his head shots online are exactly what you'd imagine.

And I use Zelle, not Venmo.

I’m intrigued by this turn of events. I will be in a few databases for a bit.

I want you to hold on to it. Interest suspended. I want to hold it over your head for a little longer. But it is noted you offered to pay.

That's because Zelle is a respectable system.

I lurk, I’ve never officially asked for admission, like it’s been said more than a few times, SEC Rant was the gateway drug now I’m addicted to all these other retards & end up only checking the team board about once a week.

I get it. I’m not sure our admin is fully functioning right now anyway. Love having more MIZ voices here.

Dr. Jay has only been a doctor for about a month. Just so yall know.

He quit law practice so he could go back to school to be a pussy doctor, and finally made it. And now he's on Tigerdroppings as a Covid expert.

I’m as conservative as they come on this board but based on this study alone, I would not recommend ivermectin.

Not sure I understand the basis for this objection.

Not going to argue the specifics of the 'study' - just the description of your objective.

Sounds like you are saying that a dr should not administer a treatment to a patient he knows well in terms of co-morbidity factors because it has not shown to be a cure for people who have the said co-morbitiy?

Say I am a healthy young active male in my mid 30s and I come into contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid. Are you saying that I should not take a treatment regimen proscribed by my doctor because there have not been sufficient studies showing that it is a cure for people with an assortment of unhealthy traits, like elderly, obese, diabetic, respiratory issues, etc??

Sounds dumb to me.

Why wouldn't I come back? That isn't me.

The majority of my COVID related contact with patients has been over the phone, and it's from people who tested positive and are asymptomatic or people who had contact with someone else who tested positive. In those cases, there's very rarely an office visit. I tell them to self monitor for symptoms and to hydrate.

If there are symptoms, then it varies widely depending on what those symptoms are, severity of symptoms, health history, current medication, pt age, etc.

I haven't prescribed Ivermectin. I'm not inherently opposed to it, but it's going to take a bit more than this flawed study to convince me to prescribe off-label.

I'm pretty sure he simply gave reasons that he wouldn't prescribe it, not that you should ignore the advice of your own doctor.
