We are being punished because people Loved and expressed American exceptionalism!
That is what the last 19 months have been all about. Nothing more, nothing less.

Yeah. They were cool boiling the frog with the Bushes, Clintons, and Obamas, but an outsider came in and put a wrench in it. Trump didn’t go nearly far enough, but it showed them something that we were not as weak as they believed. Now they’re crushing us.

Coming from Lindsay Graham it is most certainly a threat. He's someone who in all probability as a kid used to love watching from a distance as his next-door neighbor got his arse whipped good by his daddy.
