suddenly our OOC schedule will become tougher because the Troy Trojans beat a mighty Big 10 team. Look, I don't dislike Ohio State, but I would hope that they could beat OSU in the Shoe by a greater margin than USUCKS did so that the crystal can be put up for grabs since ESPN has already awarded it to the leftcoasters after last saturday's win against OSU!

Then we will have played two teams that have beaten the Bucks (not counting us) and Michigan within the last two seasons.

Surely, the three stooges will acknowledge this during their gameday fiasco.

Troy beats Ohio State worse than Southern Cal did... man that would be freaking awesome. I'd be in heaven.

Unfortunately, it's a pipe-dream. It will never happen.

Thats about the sentiment of SC prior to Stanford last year and UM prior to Appy State.

Troy is fast and good. OSU will be beat in a close game at the Shoe. The Shoe/tOSU and the Big House/UM will both fall in the eyes of the nation, and the only folks that will continue to prop them up are those in the B10 and those who make money off the very large alumni and fan followings of these large media-friendly universities

Tell us how much you're betting on Troy to win?

I'd put down a hundie on it, serioulsy. I know many buickeye fans, so I'll make that offer to a few and see how that turns out. I'll be honest, I am not confident enough to wager more than a hundie, but the same applies to LSU beating Auburn this weekend. Troy will not be intimidated at all. They play many games in SEC arenas over the last couple of years, so the Shoe will not phase them.

I'd easily lay down a hunskie on tOSU.

They're just flat better than Troy.

LSU vs. Auburn I wouldn't touch.

LSU should by rights win the game. I'm fairly
confident that they will. But, games at Auburn
have a way of turning out funny...

It could happen, though it's doubtful. I think the Troy game will be a huge coaching challenge for Tressel and the senior leadership of this OSU team. If they show up mad, wanting to silence all the criticism they've heard this week, then OSU should win easily. However, if they show up with a USC-induced hangover, then Troy could definitely beat them.

That's a smarter bet, IMHO. Troy plays most teams pretty close, just don't have the depth to beat the big ones, usually.

Troy over tOSU straight up would be a bit risky,
to put it mildly.

I am not taking the statement of Troy beating Ohio State lightly; this could easily happen.

There are several issues surrounding this team and I am getting the feeling lately like I did when John Cooper was coach. The last two national championship games and the USC game shows that. Hell, next year, Ohio State loses everyone on defense and USC loses none - that will be another game coupled with USC always plays better on the road - imagine how ugly that game will be.

I cannot pinpoint the problem, but there is one. Pryor will be the starter within the next two games and Boekman will be backup.

Those that say Ohio State is overrated is correct, and I am glad they fell to 13th to get ESPN and the skeptics off their backs. Ohio State is not very good and neither is the Big Ten right now.

USC is good and will end up in the NC game, the big questions is...who will they play. I feel the winner of the SEC should automatically get in; however, that is not reality sometimes.

OK, this board seems to have swung completely to the side of SEC dominance without seeing the rest of college football. What the hell is going on here?

Troy state beating OSU? Are you guys high? I'm not talking about covering the spread, but some of you guys are talking about troy straight up beating OSU?

OK, fine. That is likely to happen. Temple is also fast, so I suspect we will beat any non-sec team as well.

OSU is overated. Fine. I have always been saying that. The Big 10 is overrated in general. But OSU is still a very good team.

Here is the deal peole. The SEC is the best conference in football, but there are other very good conferences out there and other very good teams out there.

News flash for some of you. Troy will not beat OSU at home.

The winner of the SEC does not definately deserve to go to the national championship game.

Lets get a bit of perspective here. Some of the fans here are as bad as the philly eagles fans who think that the eagles can trade their cast offs for first round draft picks all the time.

I don't know about Troy but I am taking the odds on Stanford at home. The all might condoms who are impenetrable will once again choke like a 16 yr old giving her first bj.

Honestly, if we play like we did vs USC, Beanie does not play and Boeckman gets the majority of the snaps, Troy has a good shot at beating us. The year after we won the NC we damn near got beat by San Diego St so anything is possible.

But seriously, after watching USC play the last 2 weeks, who in the hell can hang with them? I've also watched all of the top SEC schools and there is no comparison. GA, Auburn and Ala would get smoked. FL might hang within 2 TDs just because of Tebow, and we'll know more about LSU after this weekend.
