I have been thinking about cell organelles and how they don't get the same respect as our larger organs.

Then I got to thinking about cells and how they are frivolously tossed aside and killed when infected.

Then that made me wonder - scientist ASSUME cells and organelles work in some automated process with no regard for the life, autonomy and feelings of the cells or their little organs...

they toss aside the idea of design so what has that left them with? the conclusion that WE are nothing more than a piece of piece of a piece of an organelle for a larger being

This outlook, when design and purpose is removed, leads to some absurd conclusions

On the contrary, they are reused by our bodies.

Mitochondria has its own DNA and evolutionary lineage.

Our cells co-opted bacteria and now they are symbiotic.

you got that backwards. WE are the larger being comprised of the sum of its parts.
