How many of those are just "roll overs" from last season rather than "tickets sold"?

I know multiple people, including some in my own family, that technically have purchased tickets for 2021 (though really just rollovers from 2020) but absolutely do not plan to attend due to concerns over covid.

I know others who plan to attend as of now, but who won't should LSU/the state implement requirements of proof of vaccine/negative test.

I think it will be interesting to see how many actually show up this season. And while the 2021 sales might be "good", what will it look like in the future?

how does it feel to get pegged by your wife every night?

Remember when this board was freaking out about BLM being on the big screen in the stadium and those saying addemently they wouldn't renew, and then those that said they wouldn't renew because of masks or vax, and then those saying they wouldn't renew because of Tate? Lol

All bark and no bite.

Scared to go in an outdoor arena? You must really have some interesting family and friends.

Blm is a disgusting, criminal organization. You are pretty stupid if you don't think there is a big impact.

LSU sold over 74,000 season tickets in 2015, our most ever. I am surprised but pleased we made to 70K this season.

I'm not saying they are right or wrong. Just pointing out what is probably thoughts being had by many ticket holders.

For the most part, the ones that don't want to go are older (65+) who don't want to be in a crowd of 70k, 80k, 90k. That is not a risk I'm particularly worried about, but for many it may be. How much that affects attendance is unknown.

As for the outdoor arena aspect, that logic seems remarkably dumb. Whether there is a roof on Tiger Stadium or not there are still going to be several thousand people crammed in next to one another screaming and yelling. The same would be the case in a domed stadium. It's not as if roof is going to "trap covid in" whereas an open air stadium such as Tiger Stadium isn't. I suspect any of us that have ever been to a ball game and had talked/cheered with out fellow fans have been exposed to all kinds of things. It's just the nature of being in a stadium so I don't think the stadium having a roof or not makes much difference at all.

As of now I have ticket and plan on attending as usual. Is there a risk I could get sick by doing so? Of course. That even existed before covid. But it is not a big enough risk (for me personally) to choose to forego something I enjoy...attending a game.

If I had to guess, the outrageous parking, expensive tickets and other minor factors like that may have something to do with. Also the product on the field was under Les than qualified hands.

Until games get more affordable I am just going to watch on tv. I LOVE going to games much more than watching on tv, but with every game being on tv, they priced me out the games. I am not going to be in the uppers and I am not paying $300 a ticket.

It’s upsetting because I grew up tailgating and going to every home game, and sadly a lot of the demographic that did that has aged out.

Moving around lots like the RV’s and selling prime tailgate space to corporate sponsors hasn’t exactly helped the game day experience

So the great big protest against LSU football FLOPPED! Typical internet grand standing with all talk and no do.

Kinda like the big strike against watching NFL games.

Oh well back to your momies basement to concoct another grand protest!

Here comes JBE to piss all over it now 25% capacity max blah blah frustration on not enough people vaccinated blah blah can't take the risk blah blah overwhelmed hospitals blah blah

you know he has been waiting to use this ammunition just to piss us off. going to be a required mask mandate, proof of vaccination, etc. something. if he does anything like that I hope everyone middle fingers him.

this is impressive numbers btw. people miss football and normalcy there's no better cure for the past year.

Remarkably dumb, yet all the scientist through both sides of party line agree the virus spreads at a very very low rate outdoors, if at all. That's about the only thing they agree on, at least publicly. I'm sure the scientists on the left know masks don't work, but this quit being about science a long time ago and all about politics

I will go to every game until they ask for a vaccine. It’s none of LAUs business, or anyone else’s for that matter what I do or don’t do medically.

Heck most LSU fans don’t care about their own health, you think they care about yours?
