Day one of this administration. Every single executive order that was signed was all a giant immediate failure.

The fact that this administration has any credibility whatsoever is a testament to just how stupid the average American really is.

His highest approval rating was day one. It’s been a steep downhill dive since then.

As recently as late June, US intelligence agencies estimated that even if the Taliban continued to gain power, it would be at least a year and a half before Kabul would be threatened. ?@SangerNYT? ?@helenecooper? LINK

Here's the dirty secret about the intelligence community:
Their assessments will always result in outcomes that increase their budget allocation.

On paper and in the wishful thinking of our Intel and military politicians, the Afghan army is 4 times the size of the Taliban and extremely well equipped. They just don't have the will to fight and our leaders should have known that.

The ARVN totally crumbled within a period of 4 weeks. That is what having no ammunition, no artillery shells, limited fuel, no spare parts and being outnumbered will do to you. Plus the NVA was still getting massive support/supplies/weapons from the Soviets and Chinese.
Not saying that is what occurred in Afghanistan.
