Yes but the issue is that the COVID vaccine is more like a flu shot than an actual vaccine. I got my shot because I'd rather not risk getting sick on my own and ending up in an ICU bed. The Lord knows my luck is pretty shite already.

The FDA isn’t approving it anytime soon. The moment they do the company’s creating the vaccine will be reliable for anything that happens to someone that takes the vaccine which right now they are exempt from.

Part of the reason the government is going to keep with the scare tactics over the virus. They have to keep the vaccines under the emergency use authorization.

It's no different than the approved FDA vaccines you must have to attend LSU in the first place
Next will be applicable age groups in high school and secondary schools

It’s expected to happen within the next month

I think a healthy distrust of government is a good thing, but some of these elaborate conspiracy theories are just baffling.

The booster shot is about to get FDA approval not the original 2 shots of the vaccine.

I'm a level-headed guy (who got the vaccine), but if you don't think the gov't has politicized Covid to justify grabbing more power, then your head is solidly buried in the sand.

When you get a polio vaccine, you don't get polio

When you get a measles vaccine, you don't get measles

It Doesn't work that way with the BS mRNA Covid vaccines does it?

Sure I think some of that has happened, but only maybe a quarter the amount that is postulated

My little corner of the world hasn't paid much attention to a mandate the first time and they're really not at this time.

I feel safe I'll be able to grocery shop and eat out. More than that who knows but I don't really care to be honest.

Since when does the word vaccine imply cure?
This thread is full of ignorance as are most posts regarding this vaccine
A vaccine is a controlled exposure to an infectious disease(or small genetic strand or specific protein from an infectious dz) given so that your immune system can build antibodies that will make your immune response more efficient when exposed to that disease. A vaccine can prevent you from getting a dz or decrease morbidity from that dz. Vaccines are a preventive measure and never a cure
But carry on
FDA will approve this vaccine shortly and then it will be just like all the other vaccines that you have taken without ever thinking twice about. And yes mRNA tech has been around for years as cancer immunotherapy and has always been intended to make vaccines more efficient in future therapies.

I wish I felt as smug as this that if only people wouldn't be selfish this would all go away. I got the vaccine because the vid sucked and I don't want it to suck that bad again.

I tell ya, I had pretty weird, shitty side effects after both shots that lasted a couple weeks. If I have to deal with that for boosters a couple times a year, I could see how this wouldn't be considered "good" for me. I could see how my risk of a terrible case would go down if I started jogging, eating better, and lost 20 lbs. that would be less risky than taking this vaccine.

Yes. MMR, Tetanus, and Meningitis.

But as with any vaccine requirements there are exceptions - and you do not have to have them if you turn in the proper paperwork

but once it’s gotten that approval it doesn’t make a lot of sense to me why someone would have a problem with it.

Bextra, Cylert, Seldane, etc
