My 5 series lease is due to expire at the end of the year but the dealership is willing to take it early for no extra fee. Been feeling the x5 but the coupe style in the x6 has been appealing to me. OT suggestions?

This is the OT. It’s not for poors who drive Beamers.

Seems like on the BMW forums the X6 is preferred as it just drives and rides better. Looks better for sure IMHO.

Those used models are probably selling well above the residual, so I’m sure the dealer does want to keep it, Turned my lease car in a few months ago, the dealer kept it and put it on their used lot for $8k over residual. Wish i would’ve sold it myself.

Rather lease than paying the long term expenses.

My wife has the five. I personally don't like it. The ride is harsh, and if you're a passenger in the back, the harshness is nauseating. Get the 6. Maybe it's better.

Oh I bet they would love that. Best thing you can do is buy out your lease and then sell the car if you don’t want to keep it. Prices are insane right now and if you let the lease go back you are probably giving up a pretty good payday.

Are you a chick?

Neither of those are cars for a man. Especially the x6. The only man I know who has one of those is a hair stylist.

Personally, BMW is one of the worst cars I’ve ever owned. Horrible repair history, but I’ve never leased a vehicle in my life so not sure how that reduces repair costs.

Good luck...ma’am.

Yeah definitely don’t own a BMW out of warranty. They’ve gotten to be worse than Range Rover.

But the OP is leasing.

My wife really wants a BMW X5M50i so I’d lean X5.
