This will be my first attempt watching a LSU game at any bar in ATX....

Besides being crowded, why is Shoal Creek so bad? I scoped it out Sunday night (too big of a game to leave to chance) and the back patio seemed like the best place to sit.

Thoughts?? I'm an easy sell and would go elsewhere if theyre too many cons to Shoal...

Shoal Creek wouldn't be so bad if it were just Tiger Fans in there, but the outside patio (of all the games I've watched there) were for the UT games. If UT and LSU play at the same time, there are a lot of Horn fans there.

ETA: Oh, and the chair lifts are not very comfortable downstairs.

There's nothing wrong with Shoal Creek. It's always filled with Tiger fans on gameday and they're very good to us. It's a great place. The only "problem" is that there isn't enough room to comfortably fit everyone who wants to go for the game. That's why we're adding a second viewing location. We're just trying to have more than one bar where you can go for the game, sound, and lots of Tiger fans.
