Real good friends with one of the coaches for Texas East, he has been telling me for about 4 years that if that team stayed together they were going to be a special bunch. Needville is about 30 mins southwest of Houston, they can flat out hit the ball.

I am pretty sure that the LHN is the only option for this regional.

The first two rounds are on Longhorn Network, and then the rest will be on ESPN 2

6 - 1, Laffy wins. Thought Big Boudreaux was going to throw a perfect game! He came close

Well that pretty much guarantees Lafayette a spot in Williamsport if they're able to stay away from the virus.

Just found out Texas East has been sent home due to a positive covid test, all involved with the team are just gutted. Some aren't happy with the testing process, no second test to confirm if the first might be a false positive. Sucks for them.

You know Al? My oldest and the team I used to help coach has been playing against most of that team in select since they were 6/7 yrs old. He has always had this bunch playing up on his older team with his oldest son. I know Al real well. They can play for sure. Knowing them, I bet they threw a fiiiiiitttttt, when they were told they were done.

Lafayette goes from playing Texas East to playing Colorado on Monday or possibly sooner if ESPN can move it up. Quite a change for them

does anyone have a link to or know where the roster of the Lafayette team can be found? (just wondering if they are part of one of more "travel" teams down that way?
