They’re not expensive. Thought they would be but they’re not. Just go.

See you there.

Don’t buy tickets now.

Make hotel reservations, buy your round trip airfare, make your rental car reservations, but there is no need to get the tickets until the day of the game.

You can probably find good tickets for $50 on Stubhub. You can do even better if you get them outside the stadium.

I have season tickets (well, "ticket" since the remodel) for USC (the California one). The people there expect to be playing the games at full capacity.

With all due respect, this will not happen. There is no plan for new lockdowns in California right now, and the decision to limit attendance at the Rose Bowl would be made by the Pasadena health department,

I understand what you are saying, but the decision to play this game or play this game with attendance will have “very” little to do, if any, with the Pasadena health department.

That decision will almost solely come down to what the UC systems dictates! And if the system says, no fans at sporting events, then there isn’t a damn thing Pasadena is going to be able to do about it.

By the way just out today, a huge Teachers Union in Illinois just recommended cancellation of “in-person” learning because of the Delta variant and the rise in cases.

If the rest of the teachers unions start to voice that opinion, and you just know the nut job teachers unions in L.A. &. San Fran are gonna voice this, then it might actually happen again. I don’t think it will but you never know.

Either way, this is going to come down to what the UC system dictates, and they have a very shitty record of doing what’s best for anyone other than themselves!

Teacher's unions in Illinois will have no bearing on whether this game is played with fans, I assure you. From day 1 the UC system has followed whatever the state and local guidelines are, and there is zero chance Los Angeles County will be changing those rules for outdoor events anytime soon. Other than the masks, life has been more or less completely normal here and there is very little support for lockdowns again.

100% agree with you and I never said it would, it is called reading comprehension! ; )

What I said was if you are hearing this from the unions in Illinois, you will be hearing it from the unions in California! Don’t worry when that happens look back on this thread I promise you I will be here to let you know!!! ; )

In regards to the rest of your comments, this has nothing to do with science and everything to do with politics! Guaranteeing something in politics that you personally have zero control over is like playing Russian roulette with all chambers full, you are bound to shoot yourself in the head!

Here I will try and help you understand with this example!

Just 2 months ago the CDC said, if you are vaccinated you can take your mask off outside and inside! Now, wear them even if you are vaccinated.

I am hoping this is so close to the venue that they will still allow a full stadium, but as the cases rise and the news cycles highlight it, it won’t shock me in the least if these left wing nut jobs keep fans from attending.

But if these numbers continue to rise, you will be wrong simple as that. And don’t get me wrong, that isn’t what I want I have a huge tailgate party set up with my King Aire, so I want it to happen. I just don’t have any confidence relying on the left wing nut jobs in the “UC” system! And no matter what you think, they will be the ones to decide if we get to attend or not. The UC system hasn’t said anything yet regarding the rise in cases so hopefully this will skate by with only 4 weeks until kickoff, we shall see.

I suggest you buy tickets from LSU or UCLA, if game is cancelled or capacity is limited you will be able to get your money back w/o a problem. Buying from individual may have problem getting refund

Certainly this is not going to be the gold mine everyone thought it was going to be a few months ago ..saw tickets on StubHub for like $600 a piece …by game time these tickets will be less than $75 a price

Don’t go and drop a bunch of cash for UCLA tickets, as the game is likely to be canceled and then you’ll be screwed.
