@LouisianaGov
in a virtual town hall with The Advocate says a coronavirus vaccine won't be mandated for state workers at least until the FDA gives full approval to one of the vaccines. #lalege #lagov

Hmm, why are we panicking again?
Because the US has 20-30 ICU beds per 100,000 people. SOURCE
And when COVID peaks, like as your graph shows, ICUs and ERs are flooded with COVID patients and unable to give non-COVID patients the appropriate care (trauma/disease/etc).
That's the true reason for concern. Definitely not worth the level of panic we see from certain individuals, but definitely worth being concerned about.

The only people panicking are bozos like the OP who keep flooding the forum with Covid posts.

Bc the Demos can make this last until midterm elections so they have a shot

This is the type of data the media would be reluctant to point out. It’s a trend line that tells a clear story that can’t be contorted or misrepresented in a single headline. And it’s not something they shocks people into clicking and sharing.

28 of Alabama’s 68 counties are suppressing this data. Mobile County has suppressed Covid deaths since the end of March.

Because tonight, as of the 5:00 news, there were only 6 unoccupied ICU beds in all of Mississippi….SIX….

Because death is not the only downside of catching the bug. Being knocked out of work for a while or maybe ending up in a hospital or having long term effects also suck and are worth avoiding.

There should be no restrictions/masks/etc. anywhere in this country. Let Covid run its course and live your lives.
Louisiana is such a God damn fricking shite hole bringing back the useless masks. Terrible state and JBE is a retard.

Can we get a graph update?

Vaccines started happening in January didn’t they?
160 million people vaccinated and look at the numbers driven down.

Another fun fact: the worst state in the country in terms of children in the hospital right now strictly due to Covid 19, Florida, has a current rate of 0.76 per 100,000 kids in the hospital.
There’s also been zero deaths from the delta variant in young children in the state but hey this seems like a great time to slap a mask on children for 8 hours a day.

This graph infuriates me every time I open this thread.

I mean, what do you think is going to happen?
