Spotted in the wild in Prarieville today

Just a couple of fellas out there on the corner having a casual conversation.
EDIT to add what I can remember from the conversation.
Said they didn't really want to be there on the street waving signs, but that ppl need to get off their islands. Were careful with crafting the message to engage isolated people without pushing anyone away with something specifically topical. Planning on engaging in city council and school board meetings. Had extra signs nearby in case passersby cared to join.

Would have enjoyed talking to him. Had a big thunderstorm here in SE EBR/ Prairieville this afternoon.

Nah, said he was just trying to get people off of their islands. Did mention starting a coordinated effort to jump on low hanging fruit. City council meetings and school board meetings.

That was kinda his point, he said he hates waving flags and wants no part of standing on a street waving a sign. He's doing it because we are no better coordinated now than we were in November.

Agree that we need to start doing the necessary work of going to school board and city council meetings. Politicians love inertia and dread civic engagement. Lack of enery and "showing up" by the good guys is why we find ourselves in the middle of a Communist takeover of our country.

Most were the one in the pic. Also had a hand done one that said "Get off your island." He was proud of that one because it was low rent. Don't need to wait for something fancy, just do it. Was on the back of a yard sign a contractor left in his yard.

I'm seeing more of this grassroots kind of stuff. I saw three stickers in the grocery store today that said "CCP VIRUS." I don't know how many others had been put in the store.

I remember Rush putting on a "Bake Sale" back in the 90's; people gathered by the tens of thousands somewhere in Colorado out in the sticks. Really just a form of making their numbers and commitment known. This time it would have to be in Texas; or for that matter, concurrently in a lot of States.
I would like to see somebody high profile (Trump?, Hannity, Bongino, etc.) to be bold enough to declare and call for a "Rat Killing" Event - or some title thereabouts - where people showed up with their guns from all over the US to shoot targets for a prize. The symbolism and numbers would not be lost on either side. Would be interesting to see how many showed up; and whether or not the real 'insurrectionists' would try their 'Jan 6' play. The Participants should wear masks, for obvious reasons. Hoodies too.
It's late for me; probably get in trouble. Only got up to shoot wild hogs who are trashing my yard.
