It seems college football is headed in a direction that will exit the NCAA and form its own entity and therefore rewrite the rule guidelines.
At the same time the NIL has opened a pandora's box in terms of recruiting and bidding wars for prospective players by big money boosters.
Since this is quickly becoming a smaller model of the NFL lets carry it one step further.
One way to corral the NIL is to have a college player draft complete with 25 rounds. Players will go to the team which drafts them and removes the boosters from interfering.
Draft order will be determined by the previous
year's ranking and will ultimately lead to parity
much like the NFL.
Players want to be paid then welcome them to the professional world straight out of high school.
