I’ll need it for an apple computer, printer, and that home wifi box from spectrum.

So, that's potentially two different questions, separated quite a bit on price.
If you're just looking for a surge protector, just go get a decent surge protector. If you're looking for a battery back up, you're likely looking for what's called an Uninterruptable Power Supply, or UPS. This is the one I have. It's absolutely overkill for what you need, but it at least gives you an idea of the direction you would be going in if that's what you're looking for:

APC ups is common option. Put your modem on the battery backup outlet and other devices on surge…$45-70 depending on size you get

I have an APC for my router and TV. I have another for 2 laptops, docking stations and 4 27” monitors. So fa4 so good.

Cyberpower CP685AVRG is a good deal on Amazon (~$80). It's good to get AVR (automatic voltage regulation) to keep the voltage regulated from fluctuating voltages from your power company. Plus this particular model can accept multiple power adapters because 4 of the 8 outlets are spaced well apart. I would put the computer, monitor and Wi-Fi box on battery backup and everything else on surge only. Do not put the printer on battery backup. Especially if it is a laser printer, as it requires too much power, more than the battery can handle.

If you don't have any Servers/Storage arrays (which it looks like you don't) you don't need a UPS. UPS are fail safes for servers to properly power down, so their storage arrays don't get corrupted in the event of power loss
Get one of those $10 power strips and call it a day

With the storms we get in south Louisiana, plus all the trees over the power lines, it makes me feel more comfortable having my desktop running through a UPS. I know it’s not needed, but I like the security of knowing I’m not going to drop power during a bios update, etc.

Why would you BIOS update in the middle of the storm anyway? And updating the BIOS is a very rare occurrence anyway

I wouldn't be, but I do use my computer during storms, and subjecting expensive components to hard power stoppages isn't my idea of a good time. The interrupted bios update is just a worst case scenario.
Like I said, don't need it. But it's good for peace of mind. And at the end of the day, it will keep a couple phones charged for a quite a while
