I'm a big believer in situation determining games, and the Broncos are due for a loss after how lucky they got today, plus the Saints had everything going against them today

Just make sure they don't get the same refs.

Looking good if Cutler breaks both legs and the Saints pick up Deion Sanders off waivers.

Cutler could've (should've) lost the game for Denver twice inside the 5 yd line.

If an LT-less Chargers offense put up 30+ points on the Broncos I'm very encouraged for the Saints offense.

Our offense has not looked very good to me, despite the yardage total in the first game they were very erratic and not consistent at all.

as long as cutler's breaks his kness and misses the game, and the refs give us a call or two we make this under a 20 point game.

It looked really bad today. The picks werne't Brees' fault either. Pass blocking was terrible for Brees. No power runner allows the D's to cover receivers so much easier. I don't know why Karney doesn't get the occasional carry up the gut to keep the D honest there. Some semblance of a running attack will greatly enhance the aerial attack

Next week will be a melee. Cutler to Marshall and Cutler to Royal will destroy the saints secondary. If it were one or the other reciever I'd say that the Saints had a chance at defending it but with two very high quality receivers to defend, the Saints are in trouble. I predict 3 D-holding penalties on craft next week.

we will be generating no pressure on cutler next week...our lbs and safeties will get abused again with no ability to stop their running game....so maybe cutler won't go off simply cuz he won't have to?

I completely agree. Glad someone else sees this. I'm glad Denver won last night.

Well we have no running game and a QB with average arm strength. It's a recipe for inconsistency.

drees arm strength is not the issue...we don't run a deep ball offense..we have ball control play action west coast style....with gadgets...this is why it boggles me why we didnt use our possession guys today...moore, shockey need more touches they are adept at getting open in zones...

But maybe we don't run any deep plays because we can't. It definitely limits what you can do on offense. If you're going to have a one dimensional passing offense it might help if you have a strong armed QB. Look at the Broncos today. They passed the ball 50 times and were very efficient. It's because they have a guy who can make every throw.
