i don't think people here understand....

we have jason david and aaron glenn playing significant snaps for us....we are in no position to quibble about how hall is an underachiever...his underachieving has more to do with motivation and team than talent....

while porter may be the future....let's get someone proven now who can take the slack from MM....

i know he's injured but feels like we're got the raw end of that draft pick deal....

in our offense we can have the likes of miller come in and produce....unless shockey shows me something in the running game i don't see the worth of the move....esp since we won't be improving hte D through the draft that much now...

the way meachem catches the ball with his body instead of plucking it out of the air withhis hands worries me. that and his overall lack of aggressiveness

in theory it was a good decision...

brees kills 6 secs...and we kick...

if we were afraid of sproles return, then we avoid a long punt to him.

but the problem was we put in a rookie kicker who ends up kicking to sproles anyway, and he gets a scarily good return...enouhg of one to set up a jumpball...

it was supposed to work out as a squib kick..they have the ball on their 35 or so with 3 secs....1 play....they can't reach the endzone on a single throw....

so good decision by payton.for the first time i got the impression that he was thinking through the situation and not just impetuously making calls...but he should have either recognized the shortcomings of his kicker or used someone else. or squib

grant is our best dlineman....smith is the underachiever. besides grant plays lde the run stopping role.

we need some speedy lbs like carolina has. they completely outmuscled us and we need to do that to others. a couple of hard hitting secondary guys too

hope he kicks himself in the afc probowl someday just to burn payton for the asinine attempt to scapegoat a punter

put him at RT.....probably at better run blocker there....but would be worried at his lateral quickness on fast de's
