Obviously giving two weeks is the the appropriate thing to do but do you have any crazy stories of sticking it to the man?

I did tell them I got a better job though. That's kind of sticking it to them.

Walked out at lunch and never came back to work.

Was a pretty good job at Exxon BR, but I hated the drive from Thibodaux.

Was a great decision tbh.

Freshman year of college I burned my arse falling backwards onto a tin roof in south louisiana summer.

I walked over to the edge of the roof. Dropped down onto a pile of pallets. And rolled the frick out without saying a word.

Went to the financial aid office the next day and took out two months pay in student loans. Proceeded to get hammered drunk all summer.

Why did you have your pants down?

Must have been Garcia Roofing.

Not me, but this is one of the best quitting stories I have ever heard.

Friend of a friend was a flight attendant. She was on call and had to show up quickly when someone got sick, etc.

So, she gets a call and busts her arse to get to the airport as quickly as possible as the flight is delayed waiting for her.

When she gets there, some jerk in first class says. "I've been waiting an hour for you. Now you're going to wait on me.

She looks at him and says, "F-you. I quit. Let's see how long you get to wait now", and walks off the plane

I know someone who spent their last shift at Kroger eating over $125 in donuts. He ended up paying for them all, but Kroger was out of donuts for a few days. Pretty dumb on his part but I found it funny

I was kneeling on a pad and sliding on the roof grinding. After a three hours of constantly moving and repositioning my pants had fallen below my waist. Leaned back onto my heals to rest and didn't realize my legs were cramped.

Swear I heard a sizzle when it hit.

I now audit/review that company a few times a year. The guy who was my boss still remembers my exit.

I framed houses in SE LA as a teenager.

It will make you a man, just like roofing, when you are under the sun in the SE LA humidity.

The best was it was about an 8ft drop to the pallets. I was so pissed I didn't even shout for the man lift.

The old black guy who was the foreman saw me jump and had to think I was crazy

I shite in the toilet, didn’t flush, and walked out. Owner called me 6 times and I never answered. Happened 2 years ago.

Saw him at Rouses last week, he didn’t talk to me

One of my best friends in high school, Unfortunately passed way too early, worked at McDonald's at the time in the mid 90s when they only had like 8 numbered meals on the menu.

Another idiot friend of ours had given us the keys to his house to have a party while he was out of town with his family, and my boy was scheduled to work till midnight that night.

He tried everything he could to get out of it by calling in, but they were having none of it. So, we hatched a plan.

At 6 pm when he was supposed to start working, we drove his truck through the drive through and he proceeded to order a #14. Person on the speaker said "We don't have a number #14. He replied "yes you do, it's called a take this job and shove it." we then drove to the window where he proceeded to hand his shirt, pants and name tag through the window to his co-worker.

At 16 it was epic.
