Prayers sent to the Big 12. You were an atrocious conference, with a bunch of shitty basketball schools
But you will be missed

I want the SWC and Big 8 back.

RIP to any relevance it had, but it will survive like the WAC and Big East did and become a Texas / mid-south focused G5

The SWAC could be a fun conference to watch.

I miss the 90s and early 2000s Big 12. Arguably the best football conference with Nebraska, Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, and Kansas State.

The old Big East was quite solid as well back in the late 90s/early 2000s. Miami was THE team, plus VA Tech was rolling with Vick and Beamer Ball, Pitt was ranked snd had Larry Fitz and WV was becoming an innovative, top 10 type program.
The days of CFB being a fun, interesting, diverse national sport are long gone and will likely never come back. They playoff dug the grave and the developments over the past year slammed the nails in the pine box.

They had one good football and one good basketball program.

That’s true
What Scott Drew has done with that Baylor team is amazing

Pretty sure they had multiple teams win basketball National titles. Football hasn’t been that great lately, but to discrete their basketball success would be foolish .

Care to explain how UK “found” wins again?

There is non guarantee Soutb Carolina will be a apart of the 24 team super league, which is where this is all inevitably headed

I’m not a Big 12 guy but didn’t Baylor just win a title? Also, wasn’t Texas Tech in the final a couple of years ago?

You have a weird obsession with the Big 12

I'm gonna badly miss college football. It's going to suck in the future.

With this round of realignment we’re most likely getting Texas-A&M and Oklahoma-A&M back. Plus if WVU heads to the ACC a lot of those Big East rivalries are back. A lot of the rivalries people on here miss could be getting restored with this go round.
