There is also the loss of productivity to be considered if a COVID positive person infects a bunch in a facility and they all have to go home.
Lose one person vs many people... it's not that horrible of a decision from that perspective. Of course, the impact is dependant on the particular situation and person.

I've never bought into this one. Who knows where, or how, or which person any employee came into contact with on or off the company property actually transmitted the disease?
Are we going to start issuing ankle monitors and requiring contact tracing logs for hours you are outside of work?
This is more of the Draconian tactics people (including employers) are using to justify this nonsense.
It's a damn slippery slope and we're heading down it at full speed.
The Nazis had a phrase for things they used to do, "It's for your safety."
Under that reasoning, anything is allowed.

Ya you'd be right in theory but you're talking about now versus 1.5 years ago when a vaccine wasnt available. How many offices have nobody vaccinated, already been exposed with nobody immune to this virus?
