I guess I am in the minority but seeing a 6'10 dude dunk just doesn't seem all that impressive to me. if the dudes arms are three feet long(and they are probably much longer), he can literally dunk jumping a few inches. To hit his eye he has to jump 36ish which isn't really that impressive either in pro athlete terms. Not saying he isn't athletic, just that it's not that wild or impressive. More like an accident that many other NBA guys could have had happen.

A 6'10" guy who can jump 36 inches is indeed impressive.

You do understand that when you get that big it is harder to be as explosive?

1) Since he would need to jump 38 inches to get the top of his head to the rim, to hit his eye on the way down would be closer to 44 inches. His max vert at the combine was 44.5.

2) The reason it doesn’t happen to many players is because it can’t. Pretty straightforward. He’s near or at the absolute max of players in terms of height + vertical in the league today. That doesn’t have to impress you, but it’s certainly rare ability
