That really should be a wake up call when an actual sea lion waddles out the door and they call your name as the next patient.

Wait a minute. Since 15-20 pounds overweight it considered morbidly obese, something doesn't add up here.

What kind of xray machines are they using at these medical facilities? Ones meant for dogs/cats?

My former company had a scale division and a couple of time they had to set up mobile truck scales at hospitals for them to weigh some patients.

I had a prison guard patient once who needed a treadmill stress test for his heart. we had to send him to the nearest vet school 4 hours away to do it on a horse treadmill.

There was an episode of Rob & Big (RIP) where they had to take Big Black to the recycling center to weigh him

Not standard x-rays but MRI or CT Scans. The tables used for those actually have a weight limit…

That is interesting. Growing up, there was this morbidly obese man at our church who had to go to the truck stop whenever he needed to get weighed.

In BR when EKL was open the patients went to vet school for CT/X-ray. Now some hospitals are able to handle up to 700lbs.
